Asa and Eric Dec 4, 2008

Eric and I love to just come home and hang out together as a family with our little Asa. He now stays with my dad on Mondays/Tuesdays and Eric's mom on Thurs/Fri. Wednesdays are the day that Asa and I spend together and weekends are all together as a family. I miss him while I'm at work, and probably call our parents at least 3 times a day to check on him. Thankfully, they don't seem to mind me bugging them all day long! :) I've enjoyed getting back to work seeing my little pediatric patients, and it makes me appreciate my little family even more.

Asa has become quite a little giggly, squealing little critter these days! I need to post a video of him soon. The other night, Eric let him taste his sugar free orange popsickle, and Asa seemed to love it! Asa's favorite thing is being naked on the changing table, his new exercise toy at my mom and dad's, and flying around like an airplane. Here are a few pictures of him lately. Hope you enjoy!

Halloween 2008

We spent Halloween with the Bartlows this year. It was alot of fun! This was our last fun event before I was returned to work. I have thoroughly enjoyed my maternity leave with little Asa!

Pumpkin Patch Oct 30th 2008

Mame really wanted her grandkids to go to the pumkin patch. It was another beautiful fall day, and I think we all enjoyed it! Asa will probably enjoy it more next year!

The Zoo with Cousin Maggie, Aunt Miriam, Mame, Mommy and Daddy Oct 30th

This was Maggie's first Zoo trip that she can really enjoy the animals. It was so fun to see it through her eyes for the first time! We all had a wonderful day with beautiful fall weather and gorgeous fall leaves!

Aunt Miriam and Cousin Maggie

Aunt Miriam and Cousin Maggie are here from Guam until the birth of our new nephew William Robert Bartlow. Aunt Miriam has been sent home due to her being a carrier for hemophilia. Baby William has a 50/50 chance of being a hemophiliac, and his care here at OU will be the best in case he needs any special care. We are sad that Uncle Rob could not come to stay a while too, but we are happy to see Cousin Maggie and Aunt Miriam.

On Oct24th, we all went to the Affair of the Heart with Mame. It was fun to spend the morning together. Here are few pics of that day. Cousin Maggie is really good with Asa, and calls him "baby Asa". I think she'll be a great big sis'.
